Wilderness Programs for Troubled Teens / Abundant Life Preparatory

Abundant Life Preparatory understands that parents of  troubled teens might have to look outside the home for help with their troubled boy or girl.  Wilderness programs can be seen as a combination of ancient cultural systems and modern therapeutic processes. These programs are helpful for students showing intense behaviors of substance abuse, anger, depression, sexually hyperactivity and problems such as ODD, ADHD etc. These programs take place in wilderness or outdoor settings. These programs provide students therapy, academic education, counseling, leadership training etc. These programs take students in safe outdoor environments where they learn various skills such as communication, cooperation, leadership etc. The duration of programs is normally less from 30 to 90 days approximately.  But sometimes a longer stay may be needed.  Abundant Life Preparatory is the answer to a longer stay.  Offering stays as long as 12 months in most cases.  Family restoration, as well as academic restoration are strong focuses for the Abundant Life Preparatory approach.
